Transcendental Seduction
During Gallery Weekend, we present Una Szeemann’s first solo exhibition with the gallery. Her neon work Transcendental Seduction exerts a hypnotic pull: an angelic figure of circle, arrow, and diamond, radiating from its center. It hints at symbols like infinity or fire, yet dissolves into light. The Siren Spines series continues this symbolism: black leather skins on metallic structures evoke archaic, hybrid creatures vibrating between seduction and defense. In Virare al tatto, flowing spaces of light and shadow emerge from gestures on sanded glass. Andare in sogno explores the separation of body and mind in dreams, while E sono cento stages the bond between earth and sky. Szeemann’s practice poetically touches what lies beyond the visible.
