In response to the pervasive sense of doom in the world, the exhibition presents art that uses humor as an artistic strategy. As overt clownishness loses its relevance, subtle, sharp, and often dark humor is gaining importance as a vital antidote. It opens up new perspectives and becomes a driving force by enabling laughter even in spaces of fear and uncertainty. The exhibition delves into the world’s stumblings and explores humor as a tool of insight – as well as a means of reconciling with the inadequacies of the present.
