The exhibition Cemetery of the Nameless by artist Pınar Öğrenci weaves together the ecological, historical, and social threads surrounding Lake Van in eastern Turkey, creating a haunting portrait of the region shaped by profound loss. The exhibition takes its name from cemeteries in the Van region where many refugees and Kurds are buried without their names but with forensic registry numbers on their tombstones.
