beyond tongues – Synesthetic Transmission

The artist couple Sarah Oh-Mock and Bongjun Oh have been working together repeatedly for ten years. The exhibition beyond tongues shows their collaboration as a room-filling archive of objects, photos, and videos, influenced by various locations. In their works, they merge their different cultural backgrounds into a transcultural aesthetic that transcends national borders. They do not see language as a central means of communication—art, on the other hand, as a universal form of deeper understanding.
