For some time now, Peter has been engaging with nature as a process of continuous transformation, where images seem to unravel virtually before our eyes. Painting becomes a field of erosion and reconstruction, in which surface and structure are constantly destabilised. Ornament, repetition, and abstraction shift into one another, dissolving clear distinctions. The canvas thus turns into a permeable, spatial body, absorbing and releasing form. What emerges is less an image than a process—painting as unfolding and unmaking at once. The work is on display 24/7.
