Barbara Wien is pleased to present “Horizontal Fold”, the gallery's first exhibition with Andreas Eriksson, realized in collaboration with neugerriemschneider. Andreas Eriksson (b. 1975, Björsäter, Sweden) works primarily in painting, which he expands through photography, film, silkscreen, weaving and sculpture. The landscape surrounding his home and studio in Medelplana, on the shores of Lake Vänern, forms a constant point of departure. The exhibition brings together a frieze of paintings and photographs, an architectural installation, a group of cast bronze birds and books. "Horizontal Fold" is realized in collaboration with neugerriemschneider, where a parallel exhibition by Andreas Eriksson with Kim Chong Hak will be shown.
