The exhibition “Traces of the Body” is the first solo exhibition in Germany by US-american artist Kylie Manning. Her large-scale paintings shift between figuration and abstraction. At Villa Schöningen, these works enter into dialogue with art historical positions such as Marina Abramović, Anselm Kiefer and others. Together, they open up new perspectives on visibility, memory, and the representation of the human body.
