The exhibition Osage Orange by the artists Antje Majewski and Jen Tiger utilizes the Osage orange tree to tell a story that weaves together indigenous culture, colonization through European settlers, land use and ecological catastrophes. The works, which revolve around history in a polyphonic manner, are accompanied by Antje Majewski’s painted close-ups of the Osage orange in an installation of new paintings.
