Säulenordnung, a solo exhibition by artist Daphne Schüttkemper, examines how power structures manifest spatially, how architecture and art in public space do not merely reflect social and political order, but actively produce it. What has always been there is rarely looked at twice. Across the German urban landscape, stalled modernisation and slow bureaucracy have made permanence feel like nature, not invisible, but so present it goes without saying. Normality is not neutrality. The columns stand, unremarkable and unmoved.
