The ongoing trilogy “Mouths” by artist Miji Ih explores the interconnected experiences of women and gendered bodies in relation to labor, migration, memory, and other factors. The project revisits stories and experiences that have often been overlooked or excluded from public memory in recent history. By highlighting common experiences in women’s lives and shedding new light on marginalized stories, the project reveals the complex social and historical conditions that have shaped these realities.
