On November 17 1964, Galerie René Block opened Gerhard Richter's first solo exhibition in Berlin titled "Bilder des Kapitalistischen Realismus". To mark this 60th anniversary, Edition Block is showing material from the archive as well as early prints by the artist, which are complemented by more recent editions published by Edition Block.
