Gobelins, Films and Dreams

We are delighted to announce the third solo exhibition at the gallery by the artist Ingrid Wiener, who was born near Vienna in 1942. Entitled Gobelins, Films and Dreams, the exhibition brings together a selection of her more recent tapestries, some of her ‘dream drawings’, as well as videos, records and books. To complement these works, we will show a film by Oswald Wiener from 2015. This film takes the weaving practice of his partner Ingrid Wiener as its starting point. It was discovered in the estate of the writer and cyberneticist, who passed away in 2021, and will be presented at the gallery for the first time.
