Known for representing Germany at the 2024 Venice Biennale and winning the prestigious Rome Prize (Villa Massimo, 2023/24), Bartana’s work has been celebrated worldwide for its profound political and emotional resonance. Created especially for FRAMED BERLIN, Yael Bartana’s latest commission is a powerful, poetic meditation on origin, displacement, and identity, crafted to reverberate through the haunting architecture of the Wasserturm.
