Neo-Baroque gardens like the Körnerpark were meant to illustrate human mastery over nature. The exhibition 'Unruly Splendor' invites viewers to find beauty in chaos, disorder, and uniqueness, rather than focusing on symmetry, standardization, and normality. Curated by Kate Brehme and Kirstin Broussard, the exhibition explores difference as beauty and celebrates inclusion. The artists explore the body and the context in which we live in various ways, particularly in relation to nature and its cycles.
