The exhibition Geometry of Light explores, for the first time, the direct influence of Karl Benjamin’s hard-edge painting on the early conceptual photography of Grey Crawford. Though working in different media, both artists were rooted in Southern California and shared a common visual language - one grounded in the precise use of geometry, structure, and abstraction.
