That Summer.
On that hill, faded memories, and the quiet rhythm of long days — That Summer brings together four emerging voices from across Europe and Asia: Solweig de Barry (Fr), Nadine Kinder (DE), Zhang Kaitong (CHN) and Wang Jingyun (CHN) Through pigment, found imagery, and everyday materials, these artists explore the emotional textures of summer — its freedom, its nostalgia, and its disquiet.
Each work in the exhibition lingers on the edges of personal and collective memory. From fragments of history to mundane domestic objects, the artists examine how time leaves its trace on both the physical and emotional landscapes. There is playfulness here, but also questioning — of identity, of belonging, of what it means to feel something deeply in a season so often defined by lightness.
