BEHOLD GOD IN ALL THAT EXISTS IN HIS NAME
For the 2026/27 programme year, Berlin-based artist Nazanin Noori was selected by an independent expert jury. BEHOLD GOD IN ALL THAT EXISTS IN HIS NAME is a newly produced site-specific artwork that engages with the Klosterruine as a former sacred space, tracing the layers of transformation embedded within its architecture and history. It connects this historical context with contemporary questions of religion, power, and public perception. The installation comprises four illuminated, runway-style signposts arranged into a twelve-metre linear light sculpture, spanning the architectural space of the ruin. By recontextualising these industrial elements, the work creates a rhythm of light and language that invites reflection rather than direction. Drawing on pantheistic thought, it proposes the divine as an immanent presence while critically challenging notions of religious exclusivity.
