Waschbären, Wildschweine, Windhunde. Arbeiten auf Papier im Georg Kolbe Museum
This winter, the Georg Kolbe Museum is showing over 100 rarely exhibited drawings and prints from its own collection – featuring works by Liebermann, Maillol, Renoir, Rodin, Schmidt-Rottluff, Sintenis and others. The panorama ranges from forest and meadow paths, animals and figure studies to allegories and city views. The works on paper enter into a dialogue with new works: Georg Kolbe's former studio once again becomes a place of artistic creation. Visitors are invited to draw on site at any time during opening hours. On alternating Sundays, free drop-in drawing sessions with guidance and inspiration are open to all.
