Only God Can Judge Me

Andy Warhol’s films Sleep and Flesh evoked in my mind during my student years a quiet, almost relentless state of viewing. Their duration turned the gaze inward: the viewer became an observer, the observer became an experiencer. The same resonance now lives on in my exhibition FLESH. The viewer is allowed to look – and to rediscover the human being.
