Wo ich wohne
To mark its 80th anniversary, Haus am Waldsee reflects on itself as a constellation of conditions: as a place, social construct and spatial structure that has shaped the artistic programme on the shores of the Waldsee for eight decades. Framed by a large-scale work by artist Richard Venlet, the exhibition presents both historical and new artistic works by Nigin Beck, Rhea Dillon, Robert Haas, Hannah Höch, Patrick Jolley & Reynold Reynolds, Alexandre Khondji, Atiéna R. Kilfa, Henry Koerner, Yoora Park, Oskar Schlemmer, Renée Sintenis, Ian Waelder, and Frau von Zinowiew. Some of the works were previously exhibited in the early years of the institution, and now, after many decades, return to be shown again. Others trace the ruptures as well as continuities that remain inscribed in the building.
